Upper West Regional Minister Charles Lwanga Puozuing marked his birthday on June 3rd by making a significant donation of essential supplies to the youngest residents of St. Joseph’s Orphanage in Jirapa on June 7th. The minister personally visited the orphanage to distribute the items, which included 10 bags of rice, 10 bags of maize, 25 bags of biscuits, 25 packs of tea rolls, cooking oil, sugar, milk, and water, aimed at supporting children aged three to five years.
Minister’s Visit and Observations
Following his interaction with the children, Minister Puozuing expressed a poignant sentiment about their situation. He remarked on the sadness of seeing the young orphans and suggested that individuals with the means should consider adoption. His wish was for these children to be integrated into families and grow up as contributing members of society.
Orphanage Receives Substantial Support
Sister Rev. Paulina Banbeu, who oversees St. Joseph’s Orphanage, described the donation as one of the most substantial received since she assumed her role. She conveyed her gratitude, praying for the minister’s gesture to be
