KODIE, GHANA – Police in Kodie have arrested a 34-year-old man, identified as Akoto, in Kronum-Heman, Ashanti Region, on suspicion of sexually abusing over 20 teenage boys. The arrest occurred recently following revelations that brought the alleged abuse to light, prompting a swift community response and ongoing police investigation.
Community Outcry and Investigation Launch
The suspect is currently in police custody, assisting investigators as they gather evidence and statements. Residents report that the alleged victims range in age from 13 to 17 years old. The situation escalated after initial reports emerged, with dozens of boys subsequently coming forward to claim they were also victims of the alleged abuse.
