Eastern Region Fire Command Intensifies Push for 2026 Safety Targets

Eastern Regional Fire Commander Emmanuel Ofori Asamoah has directed Metropolitan, Municipal, and District Fire Safety Officers across the region to escalate efforts to meet the Ghana National Fire Service’s (GNFS) 2026 fire safety objectives. The directive was issued during a critical strategic meeting held at the GNFS Eastern Regional Headquarters in Koforidua on May 21, 2026.

The gathering convened fire safety officers from all 26 Metropolitan, Municipal, and District Assemblies (MMDAs) within the Eastern Region.
