Accra, Ghana – On Thursday, May 28, Ghana’s Minister for Gender, Children and Social Protection, Dr. Agnes Naa Momo Lartey, strongly advocated for a more significant role for women and girls in peacebuilding and violence prevention initiatives aimed at curbing gun-related violence across the nation. She delivered this call to action at a seminar organized by the National Commission on Small Arms and Light Weapons (NACSA) to observe the International Day for Women for Peace and Disarmament.
