QNET and Manchester City Empower Ghanaian Youth Through Elite Football Clinic

Accra, Ghana – From May 21st to 24th, 2026, QNET, a global wellness and lifestyle company, in partnership with Manchester City Football Club, hosted an elite football clinic for 25 talented Ghanaian children aged seven to 11 at AIS School Park in East Legon. The initiative aimed to foster youth empowerment, talent development, and community impact by providing world-class football coaching and life-skills training.

Context: Football’s Deep Roots in Ghana

Football is more than just a sport in Ghana; it is deeply woven into the nation’s cultural fabric, inspiring young people across generations. This passion makes initiatives that nurture young talent particularly resonant within the country.

World-Class Coaching for Young Aspirants

Official Manchester City coaches led the intensive four-day clinic, offering promising young footballers from various Ghanaian communities a unique opportunity. Participants received expert instruction, mentorship, and life-skills training, mirroring the values and standards of one of the world’s most renowned football clubs.

The clinic focused on developing not only technical football abilities and tactical understanding but also crucial life skills. These included teamwork, leadership, discipline, perseverance, and self-belief, all essential for success both on and off the pitch.

Empowerment Through Opportunity

For many of the young attendees, the clinic represented a significant step towards realizing their potential. It offered a platform to dream bigger, build confidence, and understand that hard work and dedication can lead to achieving ambitious goals.

Trevor Kuna, QNET’s Chief of Network Development, highlighted the unifying power of football. “Football does something that few things can — it cuts across language, background, and circumstance and gives young people a common language of ambition,” he stated.

Kuna further observed the participants’ drive: “When you watch these children on the pitch, you see not just their talent but their hunger to grow, to prove themselves, and to be seen. At QNET, we believe that hunger deserves to be met with opportunity, and that is exactly what this clinic is about.
