Access Bank Ghana Boosts Ashanti Regional Press Centre Project with GH¢50,000 Donation

Access Bank Ghana has committed GH¢50,000 to the Ghana Journalists Association’s Ashanti Regional Press Centre Project, announced at a press soirée in Kumasi. The donation signifies the bank’s ongoing support for the media as a vital partner in national development.

Strengthening Media Infrastructure

The Ashanti Regional Press Centre Project aims to establish a modern facility for media professionals in the region. This center is envisioned to foster media engagement, facilitate professional development, and uphold ethical journalism standards.

The project, however, has encountered financial hurdles since its initiation. Access Bank’s contribution is intended to provide crucial financial backing to help overcome these obstacles and move the project closer to completion.

Bank’s Commitment to Partnership

Pearl Nkrumah, Managing Director of Access Bank Ghana, highlighted the media’s indispensable role in shaping public discourse and connecting institutions with the public. She emphasized that supporting the media is a direct investment in national development.
