Accra, Ghana – The National Youth Organiser of the opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP), Salam Mustapha, issued a stern warning on Tuesday, May 19, stating that the party might resort to destabilizing actions if the alleged harassment and intimidation of its members do not cease. The comments were made during a visit by NPP officials to the Dean of the Diplomatic Corps to discuss recent political developments.
Escalating Tensions and Political Persecution Claims
Mustapha asserted that the NPP, a significant political entity with substantial national support, would not tolerate the perceived targeting of its members. He indicated that the party possesses the capacity to mobilize its base in response to what he described as political persecution.
