Dr. Clement Apaak, Member of Parliament for Builsa South and Deputy Minister for Education, alongside local officials and traditional leaders, broke ground on a new 24-Hour Economy Market in Fumbisi, Upper East Region. The ceremony, held recently, marked the commencement of a project aimed at transforming economic activities, creating jobs, and improving livelihoods in what is described as one of Ghana’s most deprived districts.
Addressing Developmental Challenges
Dr. Apaak emphasized the unwavering determination of the Builsa South people to overcome their developmental disadvantages. He acknowledged the district’s status as relatively young and facing significant challenges, but highlighted the consistent unity and resolve demonstrated by its residents.
