GN Savings Charts Digital-First Revival with Strategic Banking Partnerships

Accra, Ghana – May 29, 2024 – Businessman Dr. Papa Kwesi Nduom announced an ambitious re-entry and expansion strategy for GN Savings, focusing on digital transformation and crucial partnerships with universal banks to re-establish financial services, particularly for underserved communities across Ghana.

Digital Partnerships Key to Remittance Services

Dr. Nduom, President of Groupe Nduom, revealed that GN Savings is actively seeking partnerships with licensed universal banks to enhance its money transfer capabilities. This collaboration is essential, as GN Savings, operating as a savings and loans company, is not permitted to conduct remittance transactions directly.

The institution has initiated a request for proposals to identify a banking partner capable of supporting vital services such as cheque clearing, cross-border transfers, and expanded digital financial services. This strategic move aims to broaden customer access and deliver a more comprehensive product suite.
