The minister emphasized that governments alone cannot meet the escalating capital demands of the region’s energy sector, highlighting a critical need for robust public-private partnerships.

Mensah articulated that while natural gas is crucial for industrial expansion, job creation, and energy security in West Africa, numerous promising projects are stalled.
