The National Lottery Authority (NLA) has officially commended GCB Bank for its exemplary conduct in managing the “Pa To To Pa Promo,” a customer reward initiative that concluded with a grand finale on May 8 at the La Palm Royal Beach Hotel. The promotion, which ran from December 2025 to April 2026, was recognized for its fairness, transparency, and adherence to regulatory standards throughout its duration and culminating draw.
NLA Oversight Confirms Regulatory Compliance
An NLA representative confirmed that the Authority provided direct oversight for the “Pa To To Pa Promo” from its inception. This supervision ensured the promotion complied with the National Lotto Act, 2006 (Act 722), which empowers the NLA to regulate all gaming and promotional draws in Ghana.
The NLA’s involvement was crucial in maintaining integrity, fairness, and accountability at every stage. The Authority expressed satisfaction with GCB Bank’s execution, highlighting their commitment to credibly rewarding loyal customers.
Structured Draws Built Excitement and Trust
The promotion employed a structured monthly draw system over five months. Each month, 10 customers were selected, creating a pool of finalists for the grand event. Qualification for these draws was based on customers saving in multiples of GH¢300, accumulating points that increased their chances of selection.
All monthly draws were conducted under strict NLA supervision. This process ensured compliance with regulations and fostered public confidence in the integrity of the promotion.
Grand Finale Rewards Ultimate Winners
The grand finale ceremony brought together finalists, GCB Bank management, staff, and invited guests for a live draw. Five ultimate winners were selected during this event.
These top winners received fully sponsored trips to the United States, Canada, and Mexico to attend a major global football tournament. The NLA confirmed that this final draw was conducted transparently, further reinforcing public trust in the promotional process.
GCB Bank Praised for Promoting Savings Culture
The NLA lauded GCB Bank for designing a customer-centric promotion that actively encouraged disciplined savings. The initiative was also recognized for rewarding customer loyalty and promoting financial inclusion across Ghana.
Described as an innovative banking approach, such promotions are seen as effective tools for deepening customer engagement and fostering responsible financial habits. The NLA representative stated that the event celebrated customer loyalty and participation.
Assurance of Fairness and Future Confidence
The NLA reiterated its commitment to safeguarding the integrity of promotional campaigns and strengthening public trust through rigorous oversight. The Authority assured all participants that winners met the promotion’s required conditions and that the entire process underwent independent validation.
Looking ahead, the NLA encourages continued participation in approved promotional campaigns, emphasizing that robust regulation and oversight are fundamental to ensuring fairness, transparency, and credibility in all such activities.
