Joy Prime successfully hosted its annual ‘Cook With Mum – Celebrity Edition’ on Sunday, May 10, 2026, at the La Palm Royal Beach Hotel in Accra. The event brought together Ghanaian celebrities, their mothers, and hundreds of families for a vibrant Mother’s Day celebration filled with cooking, laughter, and heartfelt family moments.

The special Mother’s Day event, produced by Sheila Sakyi and Lawrence Nartey-Kornor and hosted by KMJ and Michelle Agyekum, saw popular Ghanaian celebrities team up with their mothers and mother figures. The event was attended by notable personalities, including Edith Agbeli, Channel Manager of Joy Prime, and Rev. Dr. Nana Yaa Owusu-Prempeh, Founder of Women in Leadership International. Dignitaries and distinguished guests also graced the occasion.
