Dr. Emma Oliveira, a prominent healthcare leader, entrepreneur, and humanitarian, has been appointed Ghana Country Chair for the Healthcare, Wellness, Insurance & Risk Wing of the global leadership platform G100. The announcement was made by the G100 Secretariat under Global Chair Farzanah Chowdhury, positioning Dr. Oliveira to spearhead national efforts in advancing gender equity and strengthening healthcare advocacy within Ghana.

Strengthening National Healthcare Initiatives

In her new capacity, Dr. Oliveira will focus on leading national engagement strategies designed to foster progress in key areas. These include enhancing gender equity, promoting robust healthcare and wellness advocacy, nurturing leadership development, and cultivating significant collaborations across Ghana. Her role is instrumental in translating G100’s global mission to a national level.

Global Platform for Women Leaders

G100 is a distinguished international platform that unites influential women leaders from diverse fields. Its membership includes Nobel Laureates, former heads of state, entrepreneurs, policymakers, business executives, and advocates who are collectively committed to driving substantial global change and advancing gender equality. The platform operates under the auspices of the ALL Ladies League.

As a Country Chair, Dr. Oliveira is tasked with expanding G100’s national leadership network. This involves nominating Advisory Council members, State and City Chairs, Denim Club Partners, and sector leaders. These individuals will contribute to the platform’s overarching global vision and its impact across various sectors and regions.
