NDC Denies Internal Divisions, Cites Democratic Processes Amidst Political Scrutiny

The National Democratic Congress (NDC) has vehemently refuted claims of internal divisions, with Deputy National Communications Officer Godwin Ako Gunn asserting on Monday, June 1, that the party remains united and operates under democratic principles. Gunn’s remarks came in response to observations from the New Patriotic Party (NPP) suggesting internal rifts within the NDC.

Gunn clarified that what critics might perceive as divisions are, in fact, standard democratic processes inherent in any political party. He explained that the natural occurrence of internal elections and contests, where party members vie for positions, should not be misconstrued as factional breakdowns but rather as evidence of a healthy, functioning political organisation.
