Accra, Ghana – The Ghana Export-Import Bank (GEXIM) has highlighted the critical need for enhanced investment in maritime infrastructure, technology, logistics, and financing to propel Africa’s economic transformation and boost its trade competitiveness. This call to action was made by Moses Klu Mensah, Deputy Chief Executive Officer in charge of Banking at GEXIM, during the opening of the Maritime Trade Fair in Accra.

Mensah emphasized that the maritime sector serves as a vital conduit for industrialization, export expansion, investment attraction, and job creation. He urged stakeholders to prioritize the sector as a key driver of national and continental competitiveness.
