The Ghana Police Service has arrested a 45-year-old man, identified as Kudjo Ntow, in connection with the alleged rape and murder of a 17-year-old girl, Olivia Kwofie, in Agona Nkwanta, Western Region. The arrest occurred on June 2, following the incident which took place on June 1. Police stated the victim was the niece of the suspect’s wife.

The suspect, Kudjo Ntow, was apprehended on June 2 at a hideout located in Nsuaem. Police described Ntow as an ex-convict. He was subsequently presented before the Apollo Circuit Court in Takoradi on June 3.
