Justin Frimpong Kodua, the General Secretary of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), has urged the government to ensure impartial application of the law, asserting that legal processes should not be dictated by political agendas. This statement comes in response to the recent remand of the NPP’s Bono Regional Chairman, Kwame Baffoe Abronye, also known as Abronye DC, on Thursday, May 14.

NPP’s Stance on Due Process

Speaking on Joy FM’s Top Story, Kodua emphasized that the NPP is not against investigations or invitations extended to its members. However, he stressed the paramount importance of adhering to due process in all such instances. The party’s position, he stated, remains consistent with the belief in equal application of the law to all citizens, irrespective of their political affiliations.
