Greater Accra Regional Minister, Linda Obenewaa Ocloo, declared on May 28 that flood prevention is a shared responsibility, extending beyond government efforts and requiring active public cooperation. Speaking at a press conference, she urged residents to adhere to environmental and safety regulations, particularly during the rainy season, to mitigate recurrent flooding in the region.
Collective Discipline Essential
Minister Ocloo stressed that collective discipline and public participation are crucial for addressing the persistent flooding issues plaguing the capital city. She emphasized that the government cannot bear this burden alone.
