Ghana is set to bid a final farewell to Apostle Dr. Kwadwo Safo, the visionary inventor, industrialist, and founder of the Kristo Asafo Mission. The funeral programme, spanning three days, will culminate in his burial on Thursday, July 30, 2026, at Gomoa Mpota. These arrangements were officially released by the Head of the Kantanka Family, Sarah Adwoa Safo, in collaboration with the Kristo Asafo Mission and the Funeral Planning Committee.
A national farewell ceremony is scheduled for Friday, July 31, 2026, at the Independence Square in Accra. This significant event aims to bring together a diverse assembly of dignitaries, traditional leaders, devoted church members, prominent industrialists, and admirers from both within Ghana and internationally to honour his remarkable life and contributions.
The final rites will conclude with a thanksgiving service on Saturday, August 1, 2026, to be held at Jackson Park. This service will serve as a celebration of Apostle Safo’s enduring legacy and his profound impact on Ghanaian society.
