Accra, Ghana – Recent price adjustments have positioned Ghanaian cocoa farmers to earn significantly more per bag than their counterparts in neighboring Côte d’Ivoire, a claim made by Nana Attakorah Asante, Communications Officer for the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the Abura-Asebu-Kwamankese (AAK) Constituency. This assertion directly challenges opposition criticisms regarding the current administration’s cocoa pricing policies and overall economic management.

Mr. Asante’s statements come in response to visits by New Patriotic Party (NPP) members, including Member of Parliament Rev. John Ntim Fordjour, to cocoa-growing areas within the AAK constituency.
