Government spokesperson Felix Kwakye Ofosu has defended President John Mahama against allegations of state capture concerning his brother, Ibrahim Mahama, and the Damang Mine deal. Kwakye Ofosu stated on Monday that the President deliberately recused himself from Cabinet discussions on the mining lease due to his brother’s potential interest, refuting claims that Ibrahim Mahama influenced the process.
