Guinness Ghana Breweries PLC honored Ghanaian music sensation Mohammed Ismail Sherif, known as Black Sherif, at its Achimota Brewery on Sunday, May 25, 2026. The celebration recognized his significant wins as Artiste of the Year and Album of the Year at the 2026 Telecel Ghana Music Awards (TGMA).
A Landmark Achievement Celebrated
Black Sherif’s double victory at the TGMA marks a pivotal moment for the artist and a testament to his growing influence in Ghana’s music scene. The awards ceremony, organized by Charterhouse Productions, highlighted his unique artistry and compelling storytelling.
As part of its ongoing partnership with TGMA, Guinness Ghana had pledged GH₵100,000 towards the next creative project of the Album of the Year recipient. Black Sherif’s win made him the direct beneficiary of this substantial commitment, which also includes support for an exclusive album listening party.
