NDC Pledges Enhanced Welfare for Former Executives Amidst Calls for Support

National Chairman of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Johnson Asiedu Nketia, has vowed to bolster welfare provisions for former party executives and loyal members during the NDC’s Thank You Tour in the Northern Region. This commitment comes in response to concerns raised by Paramount Chief of the Tamale Divisional Area, Idrissu Mohammed, regarding the welfare of dedicated party faithful who fall on hard times after their service.

Addressing Welfare Gaps

The appeal from Chief Idrissu Mohammed highlighted a critical issue: the potential discouragement of younger members if long-serving party loyalists are neglected. He emphasized that many young people dedicate significant time and even risk their safety for political parties, underscoring the necessity for leadership to show sustained care for their well-being.
