A new customary arbitration and mediation centre has been established in Gomoa Manso, Central Region, aiming to provide a community-driven alternative for resolving disputes and fostering peaceful coexistence within the Gomoaman traditional area. Inaugurated by the Gomoa Ajumako Traditional Council, the centre’s creation is spearheaded by Nana Osofo Osomfo Kweku Nkrumah Danquah I, also known as Rev. Obed Danquah, founder of Morgan International Community School, and operates under the guidance of Obrimpong Nyanful Krampah XI, the Omanhene of Gomoa Ajumako Traditional Area. The initiative seeks to address common local conflicts such as land disputes, inheritance disagreements, family issues, marital problems, and chieftaincy tensions, which often lead to lengthy and costly court proceedings.
