Nollywood filmmaker and actress Funke Akindele publicly criticized Air Peace on Friday after she and numerous other passengers were left stranded for hours at London Gatwick Airport due to a significant flight delay. The actress took to her official X (formerly Twitter) account to voice her frustration over the lack of communication and support from the airline.
Extended Delays and Lack of Communication
According to Akindele’s posts, passengers had been waiting at Gatwick since early Friday morning, with the delay commencing around 6:30 AM. She highlighted the airline’s failure to provide adequate information or assistance to those affected, including elderly individuals and families.
