The 2026 Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) is progressing smoothly across the Old Tafo Municipality, with authorities reporting high discipline, minimal absenteeism, and zero cases of malpractice so far. A total of 2,196 candidates from 50 public and private schools are participating in the crucial examinations.
Smooth Conduct and High Discipline Observed
Municipal Chief Executive (MCE), Abubakar Sadiq, expressed satisfaction during a monitoring tour of various examination centres. Accompanied by members of the Municipal Education Oversight Committee, he observed a high level of discipline among students and praised the diligence of examination officials.
