The Basil David Anthony Foundation officially launched the Studentpreneurship & Enterprise Development (SEED) Club at Adukrom in Ghana’s Eastern Region on Tuesday, May 26, 2026. The initiative aims to equip young people aged 10 to 16 with essential entrepreneurial and leadership skills from an early age.
Bridging the Gap Between Education and Economy
The SEED Club is a structured, school-based program designed to foster an entrepreneurial mindset, financial literacy, leadership abilities, and practical business experience among its young participants. It seeks to bridge the gap between traditional academic learning and the realities of the economic world.
By blending classroom education with real-life business applications, the program empowers students to create, innovate, and generate income while still in school. This approach prepares them for future financial independence and economic empowerment.
A Three-Year Journey of Growth
The comprehensive three-year program is built to promote a wide range of crucial skills. These include creativity, innovation, critical thinking, problem-solving, budgeting, saving, and investing. It also emphasizes discipline, resilience, and leadership development.
