UPSA Management Seeks Spiritual Leadership from Archbishop Duncan-Williams for 60th Anniversary

The University of Professional Studies, Accra (UPSA) management, led by Vice-Chancellor Prof. John Kwaku Mensah Mawutor, formally invited Archbishop Nicholas Duncan-Williams, Founder of Action Chapel International, to serve as Special Guest Speaker at their upcoming 60th Anniversary Thanksgiving Service. The courtesy call, which took place on Thursday, June 4, 2026, at Archbishop Duncan-Williams’s church, also saw UPSA seeking his spiritual leadership for a planned four-day revival program for students and staff.

Stakeholder Engagement for Diamond Jubilee

This visit marks a significant step in UPSA’s preparations for its Diamond Jubilee celebrations, scheduled for September 2026. The Thanksgiving Service will be held at Action Chapel International, aiming to unite the university community, alumni, and partners in gratitude for six decades of growth and impact.

A Father Figure’s Support

Vice-Chancellor Prof. Mawutor expressed deep appreciation for Archbishop Duncan-Williams’s consistent support, counsel, and spiritual guidance over the years. He described the Archbishop as a vital father figure whose encouragement has significantly contributed to the university’s development.
