Aspiring National Chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Bernard Antwi Boasiako, widely known as Chairman Wontumi, has declared his intention to lead the party at the national level, emphasizing his unique qualifications and historical significance. Speaking on Asempa FM’s Ekosii Sen program recently, Wontumi urged NPP delegates to prioritize commitment and competence when casting their votes for the party’s top leadership position.
A Rise Through the Ranks
Wontumi highlighted his extensive experience within the NPP, detailing his progression from constituency chairman to his current role as Ashanti Regional Chairman. He pointed to his record of service, stating that he was the first constituency chairman in the Ashanti Region to ascend to the position of regional chairman. Furthermore, he credited his leadership for contributing to the NPP’s return to power in past elections.
